What is plasma cutting? Plasma cutting, is a process that uses superheated, ionized gas funneled through a plasma torch to heat, melt and, ultimately, cut electrically conductive material into custom shapes and designs. This process is used for a wide range of metal materials, including structural steel, alloy steel, aluminum, and copper, and can cut through material thicknesses ranging between 0.5 mm to 180 mm.
In addition to using compressed air, plasma cutting can require the following gases:
At AllGas, we offer a full range of Thermal Dynamics, Miller, Lincoln Electric, Hypertherm and ESAB Plasma Cutting Machines.
You can stop at our stores and see the complete line of Cutmaster portable plasma’s that cut sheet metal up to 1 3/4″ thick.
We also sell Thermal Dynamics, Auto-Cut and Ultra-Cut line of Automation Plasma Systems as well as Hypertherm, Miller Lincoln Electric and ESAB.
