Fume Extraction

Welding fume extraction is an important part of the welding process. Welding, by the nature of the process, creates hazardous fumes that can lead to short and long term health issues. A fume extractor is a system that utilizes a fan using a reverse draft to pull fumes and dust particles in to a contained filtration system. This process removes hazardous particles from the air.

Fume extraction is a concern for everyone in the welding industry. Rules have been implemented in recent years to protect the health and safety of workers exposed to welding fumes either directly or passively. We have included links to several documents that will help you understand the steps you may need to take to comply with these regulations.

We can provide you with both stationary and portable systems that can be moved throughout your shop or systems that mount to the wall with articulating arms. We carry both Lincoln Electric and Miller Fume extractors. Using one of these systems will help keep your worksite and workers safe from hazardous fumes.
